on fueldump: Allies will autospawn at the CP if built. East defense is only half-buildable, there is no second stage.
on Railgun: if the Axis build the CP, they can spawn there.

if the east defense became only half buidable, i think it's a great idea 'cause there is always a noob to construct this damn defense. But don't u think that if the axis spawn next the CP on railgun, it will be a complete mess??? Just in front of the allies spawn?? To my mind it will encourage and increase the spawnkillings. But it's just my opinion!!

Im hopng it will help prevent the massive allied camping, and make it a bit easier to get the tug through the track switch. It may prove to be too much and swing the map too far in favor of Axis, but we'll just have to play it and see.

I already tested it and in my opinion is a great idea. On fuel dump, playing as allied, I thought it would be a bit harder now but.. we won in 10 or 15 minutes, so... gg axis lol Really, thanks Zohar, well done.

East defense is only half-buildable, there is no second stage. i can already see what happened last night will become regular sighting on fueldump: constant allies arty at the east side, allies engies can pretty much just run in, plant the dyno and being protected by the arty... wow, i would imagine axis winning it easily with cp spawning. but it'd be interesting to see how it goes with bunch of people playing.

oh man Zo, Railgun is going to be absolute chaos! especially when the server is full. i cant wait!
i'm not sure how Fueldump will work out. an axis team with smart players should be able to win no problem with the change. an axis team with stupid/mediocre players might get taken down very quickly...guess only time will tell.
btw...are u able to customize every map? if so, what are your limitations?

Ever consider making the backdoor indestructable on battery again? This map sucks for Axis now, and Axis already has it harder than Allies in almost every map.

Ever consider making the backdoor indestructable on battery again? This map sucks for Axis now, and Axis already has it harder than Allies in almost every map. The backdoor being destroyable in the back makes things actually fair for the allies. Without it, all the map is a arty,nade, and mg fest for the axis. It makes the axis team strategize and keep a keen eye on the whole base.I think it is a vast improvement to the map.

The backdoor being destroyable in the back makes things actually fair for the allies. agree too, the map was sometimes simply not playable because of the arty and mg, allies now have a chance to win it more easily. And just a little organised defense at the command post is enough to stop allies I think

Maybe make it constructable by the axis once again after it is destoyed. I think this would be a fair trade-off.. Sometimes, it can be a little one sided for the allies with the door being open all the time.

And just so everyone knows, these mods are NOT my work, they are misc mods from teh etpro forums that i cobbled together.. though I am using them to learn how to make mapscripts myself.. at which point I could do alot of things... ABout Fueldump: I think it may end up being too easy for Allies for the reasons stated, and for one reason not stated: friendly explosives no longer launch people. I've been thinking about undoing that for GPs recently anwyay. Of course the thing that would really make it interesting would be FF...

if FF was on, I don't even wanna know how many people we'd be kicking for teamkilling. however, ff is definitely cool in its own right.
I really fail to see how any map currently played with even teams will result in Axis winning. I play Axis almost every time I'm on, and unless the teams are stacked to Axis favor, Allies will win. The problem is, Axis just plain needs more strategy, since it is defending EVERY map except for the railgun. So, when you get together with a bunch of people who dont play with each other all the time, Axis loses (ie: a pub server). My 2 cents. I will continue to play Axis regardless, since I find it makes me think more about my strategy in the game than Allies.

For me the changings are ok... Fueldump: It's better for axis now, since almostly every team have at least one noob engineer, whom likes to build everything in the way for xp. And for allies still the same, with the CP auto-spawn... Railgun: This mod will really make a nice chaos... but will be better, i guess... Nice changings Zohar! ;D

I wasn't to fond of the axis spawning at CP on railgun because they completely controlled the health and ammo cabinets for a lot of the map. It also worked in allies foavor though because axis got so caught up in trying to defend their new spawn point that they just forgot about the tug.
And for the record FF being on is fine with me if we decide to take that route ever.

One think that I hate on FF is that if you is a cov ops disguised, everybody from your own team will shoot you, without not even look, just see a diff on colors and kill, that sux...

yeah I think turning FF on wouldn't be a great change... even without it, there is always a noob to climb on me when i'm using mortar to make my mortar kill myself... imagine if they could teamkill directly... I think that FF on is quite a good thing, but with "good" players only...
