Sorry about bad "quality" of this video but it was the first (and only) time I saw Filter live (my fav band *_*) so I enjoy it too much lool. And the song rocks!
EDIT: well sound is not so bad but image quality is pretty bad since the real video was about... euh.. 200mb i think and this one is just 15... :/

Well, after a lot of listening I could catch up and I like the music very much I must say. This is actually great music.
Haven't seen any Anouk yet, but her albums are so great. She's got an amazing amount of good songs, so here are a few. The best part about her is that most of these songs are better live than they are on cd.

this is directed towards Porridge,... I was incorrect with "where we laid down", it's "there we sat down".. Sound is crap, I have a 40MB MPEG vid sounds much better. Sounds like they're in a tin can here. kumbaya my friend.. ...oh, and ur a hoser*! *for those who don't know what a 'hoser' is: In Canada, hoser was previously used as a jocular slang term meaning rube by members of the same (working) class in Western Canada and Ontario towards others within the same class. It was not a term used by urbanites, intellectuals, or non-Canadians as a pejorative, historically. Today, the word hoser evokes—sometimes sympathetically, with gentle ribbing, and sometimes negatively—a stereotypical Canadian male, typically lower to middle class, white and English Canadian. He is especially concerned with drinking beer and watching hockey or curling. The hoser is understood as a product of a poor and white upbringing, but never from a more cosmopolitan lifestyle—he is more likely to come from a small town or a rural farm community than a big city, although hosers may also exist in the suburbs of major cities. He is generally assumed to be unemployed, although he may also be a farmer, a labourer working in primary industry (manufacturing, mining, forestry, etc.), a tradesman or a manual labourer. He is typically not university-educated: if he has any education past high school, it's a college trade program. If he does go on to university, or moves to a city, he will still have preferences for "hoser" food, clothing, music, and sports, and will retain the language inflections of his upbringing. He's often imagined wearing heavy winter clothing, usually a flannel lumberjack shirt, Kodiak boots and a tuque. He is generally a young adult to middle age, and may be somewhat aggressive given the beer and hockey, but may conversely be passive and amiable, given the beer. In musical culture, he is correlated with classic and mainstream rock music, particularly with Rush, April Wine, Trooper and the earlier, rowdier works of The Tragically Hip. If he goes out socially, it's usually to a doughnut shop. (...sorry for the long post, but it lost its humour if truncated, hehe)

LOL DB - I was on the main board and as soon as I noticed a "last post" by DB in the music area, I knew immediately that you'd posted a Boney M video. I'm not sure how many folks have heard of this band in the states, but they boogied (can't use "rocked") the rest of the world back during "your" time Their album covers were raunchy - and I had a mega crush on all 3 of the women in the band (altho' I think one might have been an uber boombalottie). Kumbaya indeed, my favorite Canadian hoser friend. Loved the definition of the term. Loves doughnuts and Rush - lol. I was really confused when I got called that sometime last year by some winter-bird Canadians. I had to ask my friends for the definition and they didn't know the meaning either. I mean "what the heck did I just get called - was it an insult??". Eventually wikipedia came to the rescue.

I haven't had a chance to view all the vids here yet, but I think I see one genre not getting enuff coverage...Punk.... A current 'popular' Punk band is Green Day...which most are familiar with... The Clash is a great band, and the Album - Combat Rock (imo), is one of the most under-rated albums of all time. I'm sure almost everyone has heard 'Rock the Casbah': But I'm also sure most ppl passed this album over because they judged-a-book-by-its-cover, if you like what you hear, also be sure to also check out their London Calling Album, another great compilation. (great LOUD, most Punk SHOULD sound distorted, turn it up 'til the speakers just start to distort, or u'r not a real Punker, hehe) Sex Pistols great too, (Johnny Rotton, hehe great name, why haven't I seen that as an ET nic?? ) Luv this tune of theirs: And you may have heard My Way by Elvis, well here's their cover: (give it a chance 'to get goin')... And The X-ray Specs, very 'shrill' voice, u may not want to turn this up as loud, hehe ("bind me, tie me, chain me to the wall, I wanna be a slave for you all, oh bondage, up yours!!",..hehe, great lyric,..hehe) UK Subs, here's a fav tune: Stiff Little Fingers The Dead Kennedys of course, The Ramones must be mentioned: also another genre under-represented here is the Blues. Here's the two guys that made me fall in luv with the Blues. I always 'assumed' all Blues was 'depressing' music, these guys changed my mind. If this doesn't get your foot tappin', check yourself for a pulse.. and @ancientmule, one of my favs by ELO,
