I always recommend certified PSUs for sli/crossfire, so that one should do the job with no problems.

I can get like 666 fps...lol. Then I get connection interrupted of course.
So I've fixed it at 125fps, all settings maxed out (graphics), resolution at 1920x1080. I don't know if ubuntu is utilizing the sli bridge.
Edit: Fixed to 250 seems good

So I bought windows 7 and installed the drivers for the nvidia cards. The sli bridge isn't working. In nvidia control panel, it doesn't have an option to turn sli on. Here are the two cards in Gpu-Z Nvidia control panel: Any ideas blazer? Not sure if its a faulty bridge. Going to do more research. Edit: Maybe the need a bios update?

Well it looks like I can't do SLI, read up on forums that the two pci express slots must run at x16 rate, I only have one slot that does that, the other is a x4. As you can see on the GPU-Z "Bus Interface". Fml. Lol.

I'm sorry i totally missed this, yes you need your sli PCI-e slots to run @ 16x or 8x. Are you getting another motherboard or will you just get rid of one card? actually what kind of games are you planning to play? too many questions lol.

125 is fairly enough unless you have a monitor that refreshes at more than 120hz Otherwise it wont be that noticeable and in this case ET throws connection interrupted if you go over... 333fps i believe...
