its a way of keeping honest people honest so to say. and sometimes we dont want to be bothered and just want to play like everyone else, sure if action needs to be taken we are there but if it can be settled without intervention, then we enjoy playing hassle free.

My only concern on this matter is the axis spawn on oasis, you have to run past it and you can see right into it. Other levels have a jog or wall to block the view. Poor level design causes much of the problems in this department. Was ET a spawnkill allowed game when it was first released?

The design of the game makes no difference. QAW rules are the law on our servers.

You know the server and the rules, you had played here earlier so there would be no warn kick for you from me. Indeed, to agree with ks.Eich... its a bit unwarranted, a perma is too harsh. But if i do the days or week it would be just like 'oh ok' and return with business as usual. Does Koopa's permaban for supposed SK look fair? ..

thats not entirely true mr corvus....the carecat o meter is...i mean i DO care..we would be creating one of the best minesweeper and solitaire players on earth until their ban is lifted!!!! LISTEN both of you goncruz and koopa with every post that you guys making comments about how bad of a job qaw members are doing..i hope you REALIZE that your not coming back anytime sooner...so please just be nice and actually lay low for a while...come back have a refreshed attitude and im sure you would be truly awed about how quick they forgive and forget and would be willing to move on past your guys blindness to how good and caring of a community QAW truly is...so please just do EVERYONE a favor and DO NOT POST ANYMORE NEGATIVE COMMENTS! and if not...well like i said ill be lookin for ya on ESPN7 for the new solitaire tournament champions!

I want to knife you "I" xD

I have a question about this. It came up today during Seawall. Seeker was there. Maybe there were more QAW, but I couldn't tell. There's a place off to the side of the allied spawn on the beach where mortars like to set up. It is basically way behind the mountain fairly far from spawn. I was retaliating with a mortar to that back section. I don't go back there a lot, but I always thought it was fairly far from the spawn, at least far enough for the splash damage to not hit spawning players. If I can shoot someone in a spawn that has a mortar (like in the gold rush example), but I can't run/shoot through that red area, how am I supposed to take out that mortar except with a mortar of my own or a rnade or something? Seeker told me I couldn't mortar there, so I readily stopped, but I thought that spot was more than far enough from the spawn not to hit recently spawned players. I can understand why an airstrike wouldn't be allowed there because it will take out that whole area, but why not a mortar to the way back of that zone? I'm talking far enough back so that it'll be splash damage that would kill the allied mortar (it took me three mortar hits to kill the guy. it obviously wasn't a direct hit).

Well I always thought NO arty or heavy weapons to take out a mortar. The splash damage is too much and you will end up taking out innocent ppl. If you wanted to get him jump down the beach and shoot him. Or go the back route and shoot the mortar. Im not an admin but this is my understanding of QAW rules

Msaxecess is 100% correct here. Even tho its not an official rule on the server its pretty well known that splash damage can occur with heavy weapons close to the spawn. So to save yourself a !warn or !kick, better to just keep it away from spawn areas. Hope that clears it up for you rabbit.. Oh .. and Welcome to the forums ;D
