Saw this the other day off of redbox with my daughter Wendy. We both really loved this one. If you are looking for something for the weekend this IMO is a good movie. It's about the Boston Marathon Running bombings. If you have seen it, let me hear your thoughts.

I remember seeing advertisements for this movie. Though to be honest, I wasn't super interested in it. And the reason is because I wasn't sure why they were making a film about it. Now I don't want to take away from what happened that day or from the heroic events that did occur. It was a tragedy and the people who died, as well as those who helped, should be remembered. It's just that films like this just don't catch my interest very often. I never saw that Chris Pine one where he was in a ship (The Finest Hours) nor have I seen those two Tom Hanks movies, Sully and Captain Phillips. It's odd that I like films about older historical events, yet films about more recent events don't catch my fancy.
Well, perhaps I'll give those movies a watch at some point though. I actually was intrigued by Captain Phillips but never got around to it.
