The last time I had wild turkey I ended up throwing a glass at a basketball hoop in a bar :----)
I already blew my wad posting a rum pic in the beer thread.
In the past my go-to was Seagram's 7 Crown whiskey, great bargain.

I realized last summer that the house that I'm renting currently, has a fairly large mint bush off the side porch. This led to me getting obsessed with making Moscow Mules for a majority of last summer. I even bought the silly mugs etc. Usually my friday evening libations consists of teh drink you asked us not to mention here + several shots of this ->

Somehow I made it until last November before I ever tried Jameson. I really liked it as a change up to the North American varieties.

Other than beer or whisky, I rather have elaborated drinks, Rusty Nail is the one I like the most.. Caipiriñas y Mojitos too. Sounds good! Two things I've never heard of. Lolol Since I lived in south Florida for several years, mojitos were a staple in almost every bar. I first tried caipirinhas in a bar in New York in the early 90s. This is how it went. I walked into a little Brazilian bar after binging earlier that evening and mentioned to zee bartender, "I'll have what those peeps at the end of the bar are drinking". Bartender asked me "have you been drinking this evening?" I said, "yes", to which he responded with, "max 2 caipirinhas for you". I thought he was joking and gave him a ... but he looked directly at me with a straight face Those drinks were tasty as heck, and went down easy and smooth. I couldn't understand why the bartender made such a fuss, since the drinks tasted weak and didn't add to my buzz. Anywho, after teh 2 drinks my straight friend wanted to check out the gay bar down the street (the street flier apparently intrigued him). We entered the dance club, my friend hit the dance floor, I hit the bar, and yada yada yada, I woke up a couple hours later passed out from under the bar. Buddy was still on the dance floor. That drink has earned much respect from me since. I own a bottle of cachaza, and tried making it at home, but I screwed it up and it tasted awful. Apparently, you need to be Brazilian to make it well. Paging beer2beer!

Just made what may be the hottest of the hot sauces I've ever made/consumed ... got a box of hot peppers from the farmers market. It was just a variety, dunno what they are, but looking at pictures online there are perhaps some carolina reapers or trinidad scorpions in the mix. The bottling process alone has got my sinuses a-roarin, nose running and throat burning. Hopefully I am up to the challenge of eating this beast I've created.

I like to get down with the Piña Colada. Most bars here will not make them for you. -KingMob

Speaking of lobster... This is a pic of a guy I used to work with and his prized lobster. He was the Forrest Gump of lobsters really. The pic is unretouched and he had about twelve we bb-q'd up with some steaks. He caught all the lobsters himself using bait baskets, so there was little to no cost in getting them. We had the tails and claws with the steaks and plenty of adult beverages for all.
