Beyond just Enemy Territory I have been a huge fan of the entire Wolfenstein franchise since I was a wee lad. I believe I have played every single installment in the franchise (and beat almost all of them too) except for The Old Blood which I do plan to play at some point. I have to say, I think The New Colossus is my favorite game in the franchise. RTCW is a very close second and I am almost hesitant to place TNC above it, but damn it was such a great shooter! They took all the good points of The New Order and really seriously improved upon them. The story line is completely ridiculous and the cut-scenes are so over-the-top its hard not to laugh, but the game play really is a treat. The mechanics are very smooth and there is no shortage of cool weapons, not to mention absolutely everything can be dual-wielded and there is a a very in-depth list of weapons and gear that can be upgraded as you play. There are also about 40,000 collectibles including concept art, "enigma codes" which unlock post-game levels, gold, and records containing covers of american pop songs sung in German as if germany really controlled the world since WWII. It's a really fun experience plus, who doesn't love killing a few thousand nazis? I'd give it a 10/10 and recommend picking it up immediately. -KingMob

I am waiting for the ET remake, don't know why they haven't tried it yet. For real I don't get it either. If it ever happens I hope they maintain the simplicity and don't screw with the functionality of the game too much with unnecessary bells and whistles.

Did you play ET Quakewars? Worked on it, hated it. Never played it after it left QA. As a flight sim guy, I liked the allied helicopter. There's a promo, teaser trailer thingy for that game where the allied chopper flies through the tunnel on the Yosemite map. I flew that for the recording. Fun fact.

I was super hyped on it when it came out, played it for about a week, and never touched it again. It is nothing at all like ET and that bummed me out real hard id Games back then when Carmack was at his best, was way more about tech, and improving engine design for games. The big thing for ET:QW was 'megatextures'. All the land on a map was a single texture, one big megatexture. Obviously, Quake 3 engine games (incl RTCW, ET, etc) are all single tiles of texture strewn together. I never understood what the advantage was to have a megatexture over what had been done previously, especially when optimizing that tech (among other issues of course) required that the game be in Activision QA for almost 2 years. That was Unprecedented. Certainly the longest game to be in QA up to that point. I had long played RTCW and Wolf:ET before this even hit QA and I was working on shooters at the time, so I figured I'd get a piece of this game. Imagine how I felt when I saw what it was compared to Wolf:ET. It was fun to test no doubt, but man, NOT ET.. www.mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,79123/

I do seem to remember that game taking FOREVER to come out. To be honest I did think it was a good looking game at the time and all but like I said, nothing in the controls or gameplay felt anything like ET to me. It was in all honestly more like a battlefield game I thought. Still awesome you got to work on it along with the O.G. Call of Duty, DOOM3, Quake 4... Pretty cool! Starting to understand the mystical source of your fps powers Dude please tell me all about the glorious wonder that must have been Shrek 2 (2004)

Pimp in action @ 0:057??? lol, thats the one!!! uggh took so long to get through the tunnel. Looking at the video, it was still pretty janky-looking. Shrek was amazing. Like wow! I was so happy when I was moved onto shooters where i stayed till the end. I wish I had an ET credit, but I was just Multiplayer filler for a day.
