Well,
Unexpectedly I bought a AMD Anthlon 64 3500 + Venice with the 939 Chip. I recently had a Pentium 4 - 3.0 Processor. Was this a feesible upgrade?
I also upgraded my motherboard to a Zues A8V. I think i had a Austek or some thing along those lines.
My computer technichan is also upgrading my Harddrive for free i had a 80 gig. I'll find out what that is tommrow.
Probably a Zohar question, but was this good? I'll pm you the full story later.

++EDIT++
I had to upgrade the Motherboard because otherwise my Nvidia 6800 GT would not have fit. With all that other bull spick.
Do you think i would have to upgrade my RAM as well?

A64 3500+ = teh owns (plus you gotta love a chip called "Venice")
Asus A8V = not bad, but using the VIA K8T800-Pro chipset... Its not a BAD chipset, its just that there are better out there...
Your RAM should work just fine with that, so no need to upgrade UNLESS its spec'd lower than PC3200, and since it came from a 3.0Ghz P4, it is almost certainly PC3200.
One other thing to watch out for: whenever a PC tech "upgardes" you for free, its usually because the part you have is better and he wants it lol.. Take for example Hard drives... You had a 80GB @ 7200RPM drive with 8MB cache, and he trades it out for a 120GB @ 5400RPM with a 2MB cache. Yeah, the 120 is bigger, but its also considerbly slower. Just a heads up, and I guess it depends on how well you know him and how much you trust him. Having worked with PC technicians for quite some time, I tend to not trust anyone in this regard...

It will defintley play COD2 much better.
Et wont see too much of an increase overall (its already maxxed out on most rigs of this caliber), but I bet you could hit 500FPS under the right conditions.

Well, With my other hardware, most i hit was like 400 on a crappy map though. On certain maps w/ a ok config inside i hit 300 + constant. I hope to hit 333 constantly, but it probably won't happen. I guess ill have to make another one so it will Zohar, do you know of a config i can get that could possibly do that?

2 important things t rememember:
At 333 FPS, the ET engine flails on server frames, which means you get "connectiuon interrupted" even when its not. 334 is OK, 332 is OK, 333 is not.
2nd: in any mod BUT etpro, your are still better off with 76, or 125FPS. Only ETpro fixes the FPS dependant physics bug.
