Hi there QAW dudes and dudettes! First post here on the forum, but been playing for a while on your server and |CE as well, but anyway, here's the deal. I've switch from WinXP to Linux (Ubuntu 5.10) does anybody else uses Linux around here? It's because when I connect to Teamspeak server and play ET I have no sound on the game but Teamspeak it's ok, If I close Teamspeak I get sound back in the game. I've googled a lot and found a few How To, and worked out the problem of listening to music on the XMMS and playing ET at the same time but no solution fo the combination of Teamspeak/EnemyTerritory, if someone out there could help me that would be great. Peace and Love f4ll3n`

Maybe you might update your Audio Card drivers

the problem is that TS requires full-duplex operation inthe card, meaning it can "playback" (which is you hearing people) and "record" (which is you talking to people) at the same time. Many sound cards can do this, but they will limit playback buffers to 1, in the context of the application that requires it. THis means that nothing else will be allowed to playback while the FD app is running. This in turn results in your situation: ET works but TS doesnt, or vice versa.
There is only 1 sound card in existance that allows full-duplex with multiple playback buffers under Linux, the original Soundblaster Live! With that card and the right ALSA drivers, you can make both work at the same time.

Thanks Zohar, actually I do have a SoundBlaster Live, not installed, because I change the SB Live for the Audigy2 ZS that I'm actually using atm.
I'll try it thanks.
Peace and Love
