i didn't like some aspects of the game, so i'm pretty much stayin away from it until LAN party comes around my hood again..... BUT if anyone else is interested, i'm debating getting another game, because even with all the hype i had for f.e.a.r. its all gone just about. there's no pb for one, the SDK sucks big time.... and well theres a very small community.
so i've been lookin into one of three games, some imput if you will fellow members....
1) Quake 4: said to be the best mp game out there right now (besides HackerStrike: Source) due to its fast paced gameplay that reminds some of CounterStrike (old skewl version). i for one... actually like the idea... but i've been a horrible fan of the whole Quake/Doom series. i hate them with a passion if you will.
2) Call of Duty 2: i had a chance to play the first one's mp. i actually liked it alot, even though all it basically was was team deathmatch. seemed to work for me. but this second one is supposedly blowing the first one out of the water (and people can actually run it on their PC!)
3) Day of Defeat: this game being a mod for HalfLife 2 (another game i'll never buy. still haven't finished the first one) was not too bad with the original HL engine. well its been evolved to Day of Defeat: Source, and i must say. this might very well be my next war game. it has objectives just like ET, but the graphics are nicer, its more fast paced, AND (there's an and!?) it relies heavily on your teams ability to work together AS A TEAM. this is actually a game where ONE person actually CAN'T win it for the team (as can sometimes happen in ET), and i actually like that idea.
so those are my viable options.... what you guys think?

Yeah Day of Defeat looks very tempting to me as well, looks like somethin I could get into.
As for other games WoW has been my game for the past week or so, been hustlin' mechanical squirrels in IronForge like a madman.

well, stayin away from any mmorpg altogether (have to stay true to the fps world) think that DoD is gonna be my choice game, as i have some neighbors who play it (think i already said that) so yeah

Yeah, I've played a DOD version and I liked it very much. But... I prefer ET. The objectives you could do were capture flags and/or blow a bridge.
;D Enemy-Territory 4Ever ;D

well, its just that i'm a bit tired of ET, and like i've said many times now, fear isn't doing it for me. that, and i'm actually trying to take my gaming to the "pro" level if you will, and i need a game that alot of people play. thats why i had those three choices. true, people play bf2.... but i hate it.
