Of course I've seen the trailer. If you wanna see the trailer, come check it out at www.gametrash.com. We have it hosted for download. If you don't wanna download it, go check it at like Gamespot or youtube. Anyway, I can see what Jackson is saying. The character animation isn't that great considering all the characters are 2D images put on a semi-3D arena. It looks a bit akward, but at the time of its release it looked fine. Unfortunately with the release of Super Smash Brothers Melee, the original Super Smash Brothers gets overlooked and even ridiculed to the point where people don't even bother to play it anymore. Melee uses 3D for everything in the game, except of course for the character selection screen, most of that is 2D. The characters and items are 3D and in the original, they were both 2D images (The characters and items). Otherwise however, the original Super Smash Brothers set the TONE for Melee. Obviously since Melee is a sequel, without Super Smash Brothers (N64), Melee and Brawl would have never existed at all. If you can't appreciate Super Smash Brothers as the game as it is, at least appreciate it as the game that created the amazing sequels that are out and are about to be out. Thank you HAL Labs and Nintendo! ... I feel as though I should break out in song now.
