FFVI is the best game evar.
Tactics is very close, but its absolutely TERRIBLE translation keeps it out of the top spot.
Woolsey Localisation >>>>>>>>>>>>>> any translation squenix has done since.
Yes thats right, I said Woolsey is the man, and I love his localisations.

Anyone know of some really good Turn-Based RPGs? They are becoming so rare. I need my involved story lines and strategic attacks. My thumb is getting raw from all the "mash the button" games. I've just finished Paper Mario 1 and 2 (Wow.. I'm ultra nerd!) and I want a new toy. Heh, the best Turb Based game I have EVER played is Advanced Wars: Duel Strike for Nintendo DS...But it isn't much of an rpg.

Then I guess it doesn't fit the criteria
Though it was an allright game, I'd still pick it up regardless.
