Apparently the only time Pablo Francisco was generally hilarious was during his Comedy Central Presents thing. You can ask J because I think he saw him live once, and he was like really bad or something.

I did see him live and was AWESOME!
You are thinking of the time I saw Tracy Morgan, he sucked.

Wow coincidence or what, my housemate got me to watch some Pablo Francisco this week, looks like we are a bit behind lol. His impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger is incredible - so funny ;D

Johnny Deep is impressive in most of his movies. I love him in Las Vegas Parano.

Pryor - natural talent. Without Richard, there would be no Eddie Murphy.
Carlin - perhaps the most intelligent and thought-provoking comedians. Excellent vocabulary. Didn't agree with all of his opinions but at least he tried to back them up. FYI: He was in the military (Air Force I think), and was a super clean-cut comedian in his early career (late 50's, early 60's I think). Only went counter-culture when the late 60's hit. If you want something truly funny for a sportsfan, search YouTube for his comparison of baseball and football. Also find his routine on "A Place to Put Your Stuff".
Robin Williams - powerhouse of energy and the improv. The man can do a 90 minute show off the top of his head and make your sides hurt in the process. People underestimate him because he mostly does movies now. He's an excellent actor as well (Good Will Hunting - Oscar).
Steven Wright - definitely comedy for intelligent people.
Eddie Murphy - awesome in the 80's. Seems to be too arrogant to have kept doing stand-up. He was awesome as a member of the SNL cast of the early to mid-80's.
Eddie Izzard - truly hilarious.
Jeff Dunham is pretty awesome with the ventriloquism and has some funny material as well. He's been around for almost 20 years.

Eddie Izzard - truly hilarious. I was an early (for US at least) fan of Izzard after seeing Dressed To Kill in 99' or 00' on HBO & after following his career I just recently saw him live @ the Phoenix Orpheum theater...all I can say is I do enjoy him, however, his newer performances leave me yawning. His wiki description is fairly accurate - "His comedy style is expressed in rambling, whimsical monologue and self-referential pantomime"; truly shines when his ideas are carefully conceived, which wasn't the case in his most recent special...or the last 2 for that matter (Circle & Sexie).
