So after getting briefly yelled at by Jiminy for having never this book I finally got around to it.
O M G
I can't believe how freakin good it was. I'm going out tomorrow to get the sequel, which like Ender's Game also won BOTH the Hugo and the Nebula for best dramatic presentation.
Totally recommend it to everyone, be you a scifi fan or not.

yo i remember this title. One friend gave to me this book as gift and is a precious theme. (u can compare the theme with fs2) Enders game is a nice sci book and one of the better about the theme. I read the enders game and sequels; (la voz de los muertos and ender el genocida (in english, voice of the deaths and ender the xenocide. Maybe a bad translation, ask in the library and u can buy it xD). Besides, Orson Scott is a nice writer and u can have a good time with these titles. Another great author is Frank Herberth. If u want, u can begin with a book called DUNE. And after that, read the sequels. (i dont remember the name of the following books) Edwin

I was stunned when I first saw the cover and it said "Winner of the Hugo and Nebula" I've read books that have won those before but not many that have won BOTH. And now I find out that the sequel also won BOTH the very next year! DAAAAYUUUM!

out of all of sci fi writing spanning the years, Ender's Game and Dune are among the greatest - any sci fi fans have to give them a read both of them were written quite some time ago - especially check out Dune's copyright (maybe i'll change my nick to Muad'Dib) oh, btw, f the movie(dune), don't bother seeing it - it was a poor attempt at a great story

theres a final book in the series(for now) its called children of the mind... comes after Xenocide. IT completes the series so it is a must read for any fan of the Ender Series. Also theres the whole shadow series which is about a character appearing in enders game... but im not gonna get into that cause i didnt think it was as strong as The Ender series.

Ender's Game actually made me ill... Kids??? Really, how twisted could you get... Awesome book tho. Sequels were nothing compared to the first.

I think it works best because they are kids. It really forces you to think deeply about what is happening in the story. As for the immediate sequel, Speaker for the Dead, on some levels I think it is actually better than Ender's Game. They are both heavy on issues of morality but speaker felt like a more personal story. In fact, Speaker was the original novel that Card wrote. He expanded Ender's Game, which was originally a short story, so that there would be a sufficient back story for Speaker, the story he wanted to tell from the beginning.

I'm trying to get my ethnic relations, or contemporary moral philosophy proffs to take it on as a course at school. I think speaker could teach a course on Anthropology and ethnic relations. And, well, when you have read all the books they make for some great moral and ethical questions
