I know... fantasy comic novel. But it fricken rocks! Far more mature than the movies or cartoon series (Even a little more than the comics).
It's pretty much Spider-Man trying to stop Carnage from well... causing Carnage. I loved the graphic detail of the fights, Carnage's murder spree (At one point in the book, he holds himself off in an airplane and starts executing passengers until his demands are met, which are Spider-Man's arrival), and just the overall impression of the book. By far the best comic based novel I have ever read.

It's difficult to find. I had to order it off ebay for a friend because I couldn't find it in any book stores in my city.
