I also dont think you are a fool. Totally not. And its not my mention to personal offend you of someone else.
In some ways I have problems with belief.
1sth when people tries to bother me with it (If I want to clean my car on sunday let me do it, if I want to kiss a man let me (I dont like:) If I am amost dying and full of pain let me decide if I like to end it) 2th when people stop thinking by them self and ignore science. (some people who belief really say its bad to search for the truth since its written, actually this people are teaching on schools) 3th when childeren being manipulated. (let childeren free to descide when they are old enough to think for them self) 4th when people using violence, agression, terror etc with it (or start politic wars)

one of my many problems with this subject is that some person comes along who believes they have the monopoly on truth -
no matter where you are in the world, some group claims to be that they know truth and everyone else is wrong
sorry, but truth such as this would not be geographically confined, nor would it be revealed to only one individual out of billions, at one specific point in time out of a incredibly long timeline
anywayz, i might look for this book

The only thing is: some believers think they are right because they read a holy book, and they know that nothing brings them of of there belief. If there is evidence that some things dont fit with the book they destroy the evidence and not the book. I dont belief in science because of a holy book but because of a lot of evidence. If there is evidence that some things in science book dont fit I dont believe that book anymore. And start to read another one. So I dont believe in one truth. If there is evidence that my truth dont fit I change my opinion. Thats what a lot of believers dont do.

Okay cool site Jiminy. I get the point of the story. There are a couple of good articles within the site. I guess that fairytale with tooth is not about someone getting them out of your mouth like a dentist. I guess they take away it below your pillow and return money or something. (actually the parents are doing it, but I guess you noticed that allready ;D) Normally childeren loose there tooths, then you need to lay it below your pillow. Mostly the child is really in shock when he years later finds his tooths in a small box in there mothers bedroom. However I noticed verry soon, but I'd liked the money so I played that fairytail till to end ;D

Religion as it is, was (is, will be) the most exploited reason for people being killed and thats greatest irony of all times. The ones preaching are the first ones who dont follow own rules. I am not some great beliver, don`t belive in some allmighty bierded old man who is watching us from above and doesn`t have a wife. my father was very religious catholic, but he raised me as, what he said, first human and than christian (i am christian but it would be the same if i were muslim, budist, hebrew or something else). Beliving in whatever you can call God (nature, sience, upper being(s) etc.) is ok just as long as someone doesnt try to force others to belive the same.

Beliving in whatever you can call God (nature, sience, upper being(s) etc.) is ok just as long as someone doesnt try to force others to belive the same. Its really important to never force others to believe (or think) the same. (I mean in someways because I like to force others to believe killing is wrong. In every way. (Except of course in ET))But I disagree with you that sience is about believing. Its about evidence. And everyone likes evidence. Its normally also used in court. The author of the book has a great example. He has an example of a man being accused of being a crime. He said: " Was it truth that you where in the house when the person was killed? Then the man answered: Well, it depends what you mean with being in the house. Only in your western view The bongoles people think about being somewhere totally different. Being there is only possible when you sniff a piece of rock" I think that was a funny part. I dont know if I made in clear with my bad english. And again if there is evidence for other ideas I change my ideas. A lot of people can't change there ideas. And in some ways that can be dangerous. I think!
