So recently, I've noticed that a load of players, especially as axis on goldrush, will be a f ops, call arty and/or throw an airstrike from the tunnel exit of spawn and run back in.
sometimes i chase them back in and kill them, which is followed by a whole lot of HEY SK. YOU CAN'T SK.
so. have i been breaking the rules or is it fair to go into spawn after someone who's already come out and run back in or is it sk?
I've been under the impression that this is perfectly legal, so sorry if I've managed to misinterpret the rules.

Once they establish themselves as a legal target (running out or opening fire) they are a legal target no matter where they go.
The one similar situation that often gets confused is when you are in the other team's spawn. You cannot open fire on a player unless they have established themselves as a legal target. This effectively means that they can fire and you cant. If you entered their spawn, the only legal targets are a mortar, their feeder, or someone who has already left spawn.
Spawn CAMPING is a whole other issue, which is not all that clear cut tbh. Spirit of the rules, good sportsmanship and all that....

Hey s!m like Zohar and Jiminy says, it is legal
Exceptions: 1. All contestable spawns are fair game until such point as they are taken permanently. 2. You may enter the spawn in order to kill a Mortar or Field Ops that is utilizing the spawn for cover as they fight.
cheers

Yesterday, allies were chasing the mortar in axis spawn. It was pretty nice and I got lot of kills ahahah (was waiting near the spawn to kill them while they were trying to kill mortar). I'm nasty I know that.

seems to me however that grenades, artillary, airstrikes, and flames may not be a good method of killing the runners...
just an added note.. i could be wrong however.
