i've been playing a few games recently. first i'll tell u what i like, so you know how i'm comparing these newer ones. LOVE ET, tho been playing it so long i'm lookin for new experiences loved diablo2 love civilization (various incarnations) recenltly i got: borderlands - liked it a lot, tho the ending was very anti-climactic, its worth playing if you like a blend of rpg and first person shooting, mostly shooting (and blowing things up and vaporzing heads and shooting monsters in the mouth etc ) fallout 2 - didn't like it at all, stopped playing very early. i don't like the physics of walking and running, don't like how you're forced to play the beginning sequence of starting out in the vault. don't like a lot about it. dragon age origins - like it mostly, but don't like controlling 4 characters - either my main char is fine while the other 3 barely contribute to the fight and die quickly, or we all get swamped and i die quickly. i stopped playing when we were in the demon's dream SPOILER STOP READING - and he respawned 4 times in a row to kill us. that was bs i thought. story and graphics and the rest are good tho divinity 2 - pretty basic fantasy rpg, but i like it a lot. i think it's worth playing if you like the genre. i just got mass effect and will try it out when i tire of/finish divinity your thoughts?

Hmmm I love ET. I think the civ series has been fantastic so far. Have yet to finish Borderlands but have been playing it with a friend of mine and were getting there haha really enjoying it so far. Loved Fallout 2.... Its alot like oblivion/morrowind style to me and once you get out of the vault which is basically just a place to learn the basics of the game the storyline and world are wide open. The Vault are is a pretty basic beginning for Bethesda they usually do a learning are at the beginning where you pick out your character class, looks, skills etc. In oblivion it was escaping from a prision . other games I haven't played except mass effect which I didn't play enough to give a good comment on as I just played at a friends for a bit haha.

- I love ET, but so do all of you ;D - The Civilization games can be fun aswell, but I always lose Haven't played it much... - Left4Dead was a great game that I put alot of hours in, but I haven't played it in 6 months so don't know alot about how it is now with L4D2 out. - Also got STALKER:Shadow of Chernobyl a few weeks ago. Only have a couple of hours gameplay in, but it seems fun and very challenging. - The first FEAR was one of the best FPS'ers I played in a long time. - The old DOOM games (Doom I, II, Final Doom), but I might play that for nostalgia values - Red Alert II the amount of times I played that game was unfanthomable. Although I wasn't really good in online play... too slow in basebuilding - The best games I played are Baldur's Gate II, followed by Grim Fandango, followed by Baldur's Gate I

wow - red alert - i played the heck out of that. beat all the other real time strategy games by far
civ 5 is being worked on right now WHOOOO HOOOOOO
heard about fear and stalker, i'm curious, might try em out
doom 2 was my intro to video games, pretty much. holds a warm place in my heart
if you liked baldur's gate, u may like dragon age origins. i'm playing divinity 2 and like it a lil better than dragon age, so consider that game too
