Hi guys, So I have been playing for a couple days now. Great server, great people, but minus the lag. However there is one itch that I have been trying to get at. Why no spawn killing?
I only bring it up because I see that it is actually strictly enforced. Most of the dispute/enforcement thread sections are on sk. Spawn killing is about half of this game. With a server of 22 max, there can never be that much of a problem. So what is the real reason behind this?

Hey sir, i moved it to a better place ;D Reason behind it is prolly to have a more relaxed gameplay for us pubbers, mostly skilled or pro players complain/ ask about it because of their habbits, otherwise dunno If you search deeper you will find its been discussed too

I just checked and indeed there are alot of sk-issue threads to look at. I mean the debate threads in server-section not the adminstrative ones. Those in serversection are about specific maps and situations. Just study them and you will be fine qawclan.com/SKpics.htmlBut the general idea about it is something i really never asked myself too ;D I guess because what i said in my former post

Also the no sking makes the server more noob friendly letting them have a few seconds at least to run around before they die ... furthermore even though the max number of players is 22 and the server is often full there are also lots of times when its only 3v3 or 6v6 etc. so then sking can be a problem if one team is decisively stronger. Just my views on it hope they helped

The reason behind no sk is simple, it allows players to exit spawn and enjoy the game. Not respawn die respawn die etc etc etc.

Yup no sk is a good thing. On pro servers too much spawn killing and camping really ruin the game. If you want to have fun the qaw setup is the best but if you want pro type action then play on those type of servers. I have done both but I prefer this setup for a fun time and great time with all the server members able to compete. Tnx Qaw for a nice server setup!

the amout of players that support the server speak volumes to your question I must add.

my 2 cents -
the average player just can't resist what looks like an easy kill,
and
lotta players come to qaw from servers where such rules either don't exist or aren't enforced. so, they're 'spoiled' and accustomed to a free-for-all atmosphere.
in both cases they better ship up or ship out
