I seen someone talk about the crosshair colors in another thread that wasnt related to it, so i thought i would share what i came across acouple yrs ago and what i use.
I have a setting in my config to switch between 3 different crosshair colors on one key.
Yellow/cyan/red (red is the main color i use)
But here is the color chart that i have always gone by and found it very useful.
html-color-codes.com/
Here is a page to explain how to figure the codes:
Did you know that you can change color on your crosshair?
uhm.. of course you did..
But, to whatever color you want? You can choose between millions of colors with this simple trick.
If some of you know HTML, then it will be easier to understand. But ill try to explain to the rest.
In every site, there is loads of different colors (orly?), each one of them has their own colorcode.
Like black got "#000000".
White got "#FFFFFF".
Red is "#FF0000".
And the list goes on
As you see there is a "#" infront of some numbers.
Well, its as simple as it seems.
The # + the numbers = a colorcode.
Then you think what the heck this have to do with crosshairs, read on. =]
After you found a color of you choice, like some green. (green rules on dark configs) Then you remove the # infront of the colorcode.
Say that I choose #00FF00, which is a green one. Then I remove the "#", and get this "00FF00".
Then put this into your config:
seta cg_crosshairColor "0x00FF00"
The 0x have to be in front, because its hexadecimal code.
I hope this helps out some that have been looking to try different crosshair colors.
