Sorry I can't offer too much insight on the PC Final Fantasy. If you want a true Final Fantasy experience.. grab a ps2 so you can play 7-12 . I just know the online final fantasy game seems like world of warcraft to me.. although ive played more world of warcraft than the actual final fantasy game online. Sorry not much of a help but no one else posted

why, thank you kind sir. there are still gentlemen in left in the world
yeah, i'll probably torrent a couple of 'em, and see which i get first
i like the open world (sandbox) experience as opposed to the scripted story, like medal of honor or call of duty - world at war
divinity 2 and stalker games are pretty open, you can go anywhere you want, and follow the main story when you feel like it
i havn't played WOW tho, and didn't like dark age of camelot, and city of heroes was 'ok'
danke!

NP, sir. Most of my experience with Final Fantasy is via console. I did try FF11 once and it made me want to play WoW.I just took a break from WoW but that game is DEEP. Some people love it, some hate it. I enjoyed my time playing that game. Stalker is a pretty cool game though and I get what you mean by sandbox world. Most of the console versions are pretty much a scripted story with point a to b type game play until the end where you can free roam and do side challenges and whatnot. Final Fantasy 11 and.. well.. I hear Final Fantasy 14 is due out later this year MIGHT be something you want to look into. If you need any advice of computer mmorpgs just let me know via PM.

other than 11, they are all console games primarily. Only 7 and 8 ever cam eout for the PC, and they are impossible to find and dont really work terribly well on a modern PC. BUT! You can emulate the SNES, Playstation, and PS2 on your PC, so you can play all of them except 13 on the PC anyway! PS2 emulation DOES require a pretty spicy PC though. Anyway, I would suggest you start with the Playstation emulator EPSXE, and play FF7 first.
