Ok, can get the crt 21" for free (always good price for the Dutch ;D ) or buy second hand a p2370 tft (3 months old orso) for €150. New I can buy the p2370 in the neighberhood for about €175, but I havent checked that out, only via their site....and if it would be the same, then I would choose that offcourse. Now I am a cheapskate (prober english? but you get my drift) and not sure. And if it ain't broken, don't fix it....or in this case buy something new if not neccessary. I play mainly ET, so if the 21" is good enough, I'm not gonna bother for the 23". But, will I run into problems with the p2370, to get ET to run propperly?? Technical I'm a n00b, bare that in mind. I run XP and a Asus 8800gt TOP 512

Native resolution for a 23" display is going to be something like 1920 x 1080...You'll probably have to tweak your FOV settings in ET to make maximum use of the increased resolution, without getting the "fishbowl" effect. From the reviews, it's a pretty good display...I usually buy Samsung Televisions, and my 1080 60" LCD is fantastic. Looks like Amazon has the price for the p2370 at $295.00...

Muahaha at Bichkilla ;D Native resolution for a 23" display is going to be something like 1920 x 1080...You'll probably have to tweak your FOV settings in ET to make maximum use of the increased resolution, without getting the "fishbowl" effect. Ok, I suck at technical pc stuff and game settings..... Bit surprised by the Amazon prize though, thought over the big ocean, this kind of stuff was cheaper. Here in Holland cheapest price (around the corner I might add) is €175. And yes, the reviews are pretty good. Thnx for the input, I'll try to use both screens coming week and see what works for me. Maybe I'll have some ingame questions.....so I know who to ask.

Well if you're a hardcore gamer then you're looking for more refresh rate to give a good usage to that 8800 card. 23" refreshes at 60 .. and the CRT assuming that its a common model will be refreshing at 85 hz or more, resolution isnt a big deal @ ET 720p is more than enough, so make your choice smothness or size.
