I'm currently using an MX revolution, which is not really a gamer mouse but works a lot better than what I used to have. Although today I saw a Razer Naga - 17 button mouse and was wondering if anyone has a review for it? I almost purchased it but thought It would take time to get used to.
Also what mouse sensitivity do you use? I'm currently finding that around 2.06 works pretty well for me and my current mouse.

Logitech g5 I really like it. Elovesk I def. wouldn't recommend the naga though unless your playing mmos with it, cause thats why it has so many buttons the abundance of spells and abilities for mmos

The death adder looks amazing and super comfortable but what about that cord? Does it get in the way?

Here are some things I do with my mouse to ensure smooth tracking, constant weight/sensitivity etc. 1. Turn the mouse body upside down. 2. The mouse roller is enclosed by a ball-cover ring. Rotate the ring counter-clockwise to remove the ring and release the roller ball. Photo showing how to remove the ball-cover ring Photo showing the roller ball being removed 3. Rinse the roller ball with soap and warm water. Photo showing the roller ball being rinsed with warm water and soap 4. Clean the rollers inside the mouse with a cotton swab dampened with isopropyl alchohol. Photo showing the mouse rollers being cleaned with a cotton swab 5. Replace the roller ball and ball-cover ring. When finished, plug in your mouse to your computer. Enjoy your clean system! Hope this helps.

thanks for that advice porridge! I've always had problems with junk that got into my roller ball and I never knew how to get rid of it!

I'm still using my trusty old MX510 that I got years ago. I used to use a trackball mouse to play ET (and RTCW, MOH, etc) and when I finally bought a regular mouse, I hated it! It took me a few weeks to get used to it actually.

That does look nice. I have a little while longer to think about it, but I just know that I need a new one. Mine is wireless and does not seem to hold a charge very long any more. On top of that, sometimes it locks up when I try to turn and it gets very annoying trying to plant dyno, shooting, revive, etc. I think I will need a good mouse pad also because my desk has these tiny pits in the (fake wood) which doesn't help.
Never knew people used the trackball mice : o I can see how that could have some advantages but I'm so used to a 'normal' mouse that I could probably never get used to it.

Mx 518 800 dpi and 1.74 sens (6/10 windows sens)
Installed all drivers and downloaded a Mouse Rate Switcher to poll mouse rate, knowing some mice just dont have rate options to switch.
My brother has the death hadder and It is like pretty hard to get use to, but u will get random headshots even if u dont want to

I am with Tom Fury. I still use my ancient mx510. Old but still works like a charm.

Got a rocketfish mouse pad with one side rough and the other side smooth. I have the sens lowered to about 0.64 with the adder and overall I would say it has helped me mostly in slight to mid distances. When people come out from behind me or the sides I usually fail to turn quick enough.

lol Casanova got exactly the same setup as you. Death Adder with rocketfish pad rough and smooth sides. I use the smooth side. Agree on the turning around though. I have noticed the slow turnarounds. otherwise it's a great mouse.
