I've read the rules.... Trick plants (by the rules) are those that require stacking (which I assume are players climbing on each other) to defuse.
How about the tank plant?
On gold rush, as the tank approaches the tank barrier. You drop the dyno, set it and the tank rolls over it. Axis can't reach it (I assume) to defuse.
Trick plant or not? BTW, it take a heck of a lot of coordination to pull it off, as far as keeping the tank moving and staying alive.

Trick plant simply because it can't be defused.
Another option that would require skill and timing is for the allied engi to plant dyno on the front of the tank then get it rolling so the dyno goes off just as it reaches the barrier. You won’t even get the “dynamite planted “warning. ;D

I like your idea Sloniu. It's legal(correct?) and real sneaky. I'll remember that next time I'm allies.

Scout... I don't disagree with you at all that it is a trickplant.
The problem is that the way the rules are written that it actually isn't an illegal trickplant.
Its like eating an ice cream cone and driving. Its not illegal to do, but then its not safe either.
Need rule changes, shoot me a pm, I'll send you something....

You are right about that 82nd. We might have to change the wording on that one. That used to be one of my favorites, but we decided awhile ago it is illegal because it cannot be defused.

The things we have listed are some of the most common or most likely to occur. What you have pointed out while not specifically mentioned, would run counter to the “spirit and intent” of our server rules, and be treated as a trick plant. This is why our members and admins get paid the big bucks with annual bonuses and time shares in Boca. Our world class training has enabled us to spot such activity and make rapid and accurate assessments to keep the game play lively and fair; it’s just part of the job description that helps ensure a good time is had by all.

I see what you did there... Though to actually contribute to the conversation, it's kind of like staying in the spawn for 20 minutes throwing med packs and never leaving. The rules don't technically say you can kill that person, but you can.
