So as some of you may know... or not... My laptop fried.
I recently took it to a nearby computers repair to do a diagnostic, and they want about $220 to fix it. According to them, its a internal short on the motherboard. Any of you guys know, what are the chances of this happening again, and if it is worth it or not to get it fixed?
My laptops specs:
" AMD Turion™ X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-70 2.0 GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, Configured with 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 SDRAM (both memory slots may be occupied).
Hard Disk Drive 200GB (5400 RPM);
ATI RadeonTM 3100 Graphics with 256MB-1519MB dynamically allocated shared graphics memory"
Or... should I just get a new laptop for about 500?
Thank you for any input

Is that the laptop you're playing ET on? If so I'm surprised you move so "quick" in ET!
