Hey Guys/Gals. What are your recommendations for data recovery via software? In the past I've used the following 3 listed below, however they are unable to retrieve a specific file that I am looking for. That file was accidentally deleted using CCleaner(Gutman 35 passes over-write mode). Software I've tried (that work really well but still wasn't able to retrieve my data): - Photorec
- Pirisoft Recuva
- Restoration (Windows)
And there's a bunch more, but aren't as effective as the above. Any ideas? The file I'm trying to retrieve is in excel format. Thanks for any help, greatly appreciated

Unfortunatley quicky when using the Gutman 35 passes over-write mode is pretty much impossible to recover data afterwards. This is due solely to the 'over write' part of the process. The data cannot be retrevied with software. The only proposed method of retreval is using a magnetic force microscope but even this has no distinct evidence proving its validity. So unless you have one of those, im sorry quicky i dont think its coming back
