I changed some dll from the Setpoint app and nothing...I have windows 7 x64 and it seems to be a recent problem, any advices? danke

They use RF to transmit/receive, so it could literally be anything. Some kid down the street dropped the phone and now it is emmiting RF interference. The guy next door running the garbage disposal, a cell phone within 20 feet of it, a microwave on the same power circuit, a cordless landline, hell it could be a light bulb in the room is leaking random electrons.
One of the many reasons wireless sucks - no wires.

Indeed zoh, but the problem is that the G9 mouse is wired

well there goes that theory. maybe try uninstalling Setpoint... or using a USB->PS/2 convertor?? that will at least narrow it down to either software or the USB ports/controllers....

If its any consolation, my G5 started doing this within the last two weeks. Occurs inconsistently, but man, when it gets bad it'll freeze for a sec every minute or two. During, the lights for the sensitivity buttons on the mouse turn off, but the laser is still on.
It happens when it wants, but it sure seems like it starts freezing on me RIGHT when I'm about to get into a fire-fight.
I also switched to a cheap wireless mini-mouse to see what would happen and the freeze never occurred.
Well until I get a new mouse, if I'm jerking around wildly, or not rotating, you know why... shoot for the head cuz I won't be fighting back for a sec. grrr

Do you play on a laptop?
If do disable the internal mouse (track pad) when an external mouse is connected then it no longer happens.
