Hello everyone, Just wanted to share one part of my cfg that I think is a reason for my good aim. (beside having played for like 9 years) bind mouse1 "+vstr xshoot1 xshoot2" set xshoot1 "+attack;+sprint;sensitivity 0.65" set xshoot2 "-attack;-sprint;sensitivity 1.65" bind mouse3 "+attack;-attack" I believe there is not a lot of people using this. Well, at least the part with the sensitivity changing. It helps keeping the aim at the enemy, at his head. The bad side for me is that it makes it harder to aim with pistols/lugers and garand/k43 because you don't hold mouse1 with them. The reason for mouse3 is for medpacks and grenades. That way I can still turn fast. If any of you try it, you might find it weird at first but I feel like it really helps. Once you get your aim near the enemy's head and start shooting then your sensitivity gets lower so it's easier to keep your aim at the enemy. You just have to find the right sensitivity for you and your mouse. That's all!

^^It causes you to sprint when u press the fire button though right? Anyway heres my own customization of it Just got it done..like i said i have a tendancy to aim really low and not pick up. seta fire1 "+attack;sensitivity 1;m_pitch .025000;m_yaw .015000" seta fire2 "-attack;sensitivity 2;m_pitch .022000;m_yaw .022000" bind mouse1 "+vstr fire1 fire2" when im not firing pitch and yaw are defaulted when i fire my pitch is max sens and yaw is low sens..the normal recoil effect will run my aim right up the body (now off to game test my theories - i just tested it in my own serv to make sure it worked)

Yeah it makes me sprint when I shoot. And nice, if it actually helps you aim better than that's cool If It can help at least one person than I'm happy You just need to get used to it! I didn't know what was my yaw and pitch, just looked in my cfg: seta m_yaw "0.022" seta m_pitch "0.019" I have actually never changed them. And I've got this cfg since like when I started playing ET lol. Another thing that can be helpful, if you don't already use it, is that I have my crouch on mouse2. That way I don't lose a finger to move when I'm in a fight and want to crouch.

Played with it. Works nice for long range, but up close, I can't turn fast enough.
I went ahead and changed it to just work when I am at 90 degree FOV. I use that when shooting far.
seta xshoot1 "+attack;sensitivity 1.00" seta xshoot2 "-attack;sensitivity 1.85" // bind MOUSE1 "+vstr xshoot1 xshoot2" seta fov110 "set cg_fov 110;set switch_fov vstr fov90;set sensitivity 2.00;cg_crosshairY 0;seta cg_crosshairSize 25;cg_drawCrosshair 5; bind MOUSE1 +attack" seta fov90 "set cg_fov 90;set switch_fov vstr fov110;set sensitivity 1.85;cg_crosshairY 0;seta cg_crosshairSize 20;cg_drawCrosshair 5; bind MOUSE1 +vstr xshoot1 xshoot2"
Now, does anyone know of a 180 degree turn bind that doesn't violate the new limit on CL_YAWSPEED?
com_maxfps 50; wait 2; cl_yawspeed 1800; +left; wait 10; -left; com_maxfps 125; cl_yawspeed 140
