step 1 - disconnect brain. (for some of us that is not a hard thing to do) step 2 - attach bib to your person step C - consume and digest sonic waves as served up by Chef Davis step 4 - repeat

I want to listen to this, but where oh where do I find a bib.
Do I need to run to the local crab shack?

Oh my goat cheese... i just noticed this. I want to listen to this, but where oh where do I find a bib. Do I need to run to the local crab shack? your bib should auto-appear within 8 secs of accessing link. you may want to ease into this world. so i offer up this. goes great with oh lets see: driving, walking, breathing, sleeping, blinking, speaking, drinking, meowing, mooing, diddling, samualing , sunshine, rain, ohhh lets just all Matter in General. (and all anti-matter). but again, merely my opinion. its not about the notes played all the time. its about what isnt. oh and hash. goes great with hash.

If I had to choose from his massive catalog of records, I'd choose both Kind Of Blue and Live Evil. Some of, if not, his best work.
Folks that have never heard Miles' music before should get either of these records, fo realz.

Kind of Blue was a revolutionary album in its days... everyone was doing be-bop, and Miles came with this awesome melodies. I listen to jazz when studying or working and Miles is a must.

Yussss! I love Miles Davis. Tie between Miles in the Sky and Bitches Brew for my favorite of his works! Fans of Miles should be sure to check out Max!!!

Sort of apropos ... these guys have an album called Strich's Brew (I guess they recorded at a club called Strich's) ... anyways they play jazz covers of video game tunes, pretty fun stuff.

Not quite the same intensity as other stuff but I always liked this one after jamming to it on my saxophone in jr high

... anyways they play jazz covers of video game That's awesome!! There is a band in my town called Mechanical Life Vein, its 4 piece with bass guitar drums sax and the 5th member is a guy who sits in a recliner and plays Super Mario 2, Metroid, and a few other games and they play the music to the games live, even up to the point of stopping and restarting every time he dies! Though this guy is obviously a pro because in the whole 40 minute set I think he died twice. I love crap like that. Cool to know you are (were?) a sax player!
