I went to go see Interstellar last Thursday with two of my friends, and I left the theater awed. Once again, Christopher Nolan delivers with an excellent movie. I would even go as far as to say that this one could be his masterpiece. It was sort of a cross between Bladerunner and 2001: A Space Odyssey (both of which he said he took inspiration from).
Now, I've seen plenty of great movies, but most of them were out before I was born or had already been in the theater. This is the first time I can remember where I went to the theater and I just didn't want to get up. Despite the fact it was almost 3 hours I didn't move.
It's not a movie for everyone though. I can see some people finding it boring; it moves faster the A Space Odyssey, but it's still a little slow in some spots. The science in the movie is also likely to go over most people's heads, which will either annoy you or (like me) leave your mind blown.
