Ever since I've built my new machine, I've been monitoring the temps/usage as I'm playing games (ET and CS:GO) with various monitoring tools. I found a way to use a program to " overlay" that information while playing ET, so that you don't have to keep minimizing the game to look at your stats. As you can see at the top of my screen is my overlay that I customized to show the following: GPU Temp, Usage, Fan Speed ,Clock Frequency and Memory usage Here are the steps to do the above or something similiar: 1. I downloaded MSI AfterBurner (FREE), then installed. 2. The above step also installed RivaTuner Statistics Server 3. I launched MSI AfterBurner and Riva Tuner In the above image, I circled what you have to set in order to get overlays to work with ET. Thanks to blazer for mentioning MSI AfterBurner --Qu!ck

Well MSI Afterburner and using utilities like HWINFO, will let you monitor temps in "any" game. The idea is that the riva tuner allows you to add programs that have some sort of monitoring and display it on your main program.
