This game first came to my attention quite a few months ago. It looks to me like it's basically Call of Duty 2 with a new engine. But I'd still give this game a try. The only game series to make a major World War Two release in the last 5 years are Sniper Elite and Red Orchestra (that I know of), and the next Red Orchestra game is going to be set in Vietnam. And Medal of Honor has been shelved indefinitely after they went to modern warfare and failed epically with the second game.
It also makes me wish that Activision and Infinity Ward would re-release Call of Duty 2 with a new engine. It's still probably the best single player World War Two experience I've had in a video game. The Pointe Du-Hoc mission is my favorite of all time, and I'd love to see it with updated graphics.
