Anybody check out Sick Note with Rupert Grint? We power-watched the first 5 or 6 episodes last night. It's interesting enough. Not bad as far as Netflix Originals go.

Haven't heard of that one before, maybe I'll check it out sometime when I've run out of things to watch. Kind of a mixed bag of reviews for it from what I'm seeing.
I've just got the finale of Unfortunate Events left now and then it's on to more cartel violence in Narcos.

It's almost like a breaking bad web-of-lies kind of thing going on, mainly interesting just to see how it all plays out. For the record I wasn't a huge breaking bad fan but did enjoy Better Call Saul.

Not gonna create a whole Hulu thread , but did anyone watch Future Man? Kind of a sci-fi stoner comedy type deal , I thought season 1 was pretty funny. Anyways I noticed that a season 2 comes out next week if anyone was interested.

New show Russian Doll just came out yesterday, stars one of the Orange is the New Black chicks ... It has pretty good reviews on the web, I've watched a couple eps so far (1/2 hour eps) and it's not bad. Kind of a groundhogs day premise, if you check out a trailer you'll get a good idea what's up.

For the record I wasn't a huge breaking bad fan but did enjoy Better Call Saul. Same for me, despite the great development of the characters, BB doesn't add up without Better Call Saul.

I think there's probably a lot of agreement on the web that Saul is a technically better show ... I feel like maybe its a bit more refined, has a narrower scope, so maybe has a bit more depth to it. BB was still a magical show though especially watching it week to week. Both are a real treat though IMO, great writing, great acting ... some of the best television ever produced.

I'm 5 episodes into Lost in Space.
I'm not sure why.
However, since I've started watching it, I must finish it. This is in the Netflix terms and conditions somewhere.

I just got this collection of short films?shows? on Netflix called Love, Death, and Robots. Only watched the first one so far, was some violent stuff going on. I guess they are all different stories? Will continue to watch.
Also watched The Umbrella Academy at some point recently ... it wasn't bad, but not great.
On the non-netflix but streaming front, continuing to watch Doom Patrol, there's been 6 episodes so far I believe. It too is also not bad, but not great.

Reminds me of a cross between the 1970's film Heavy Metal and The Animatrix. Haven't watched all of them quite yet but I'm working on it. Been meaning to check out Umbrella Academy, heard good things about the comics back in the day. I'm pretty sure it was written by the singer from My Chemical Romance... I just started reading Grant Morrison's run of Doom Patrol, it's actually becoming a fast favorite for me. I'll have to give the show a try as well!

Not a Netflix show but finished Catastrophe yesterday. A short 6 episode season. Just so good. I hear that it might be the final season, and if so, that really sucks. Meanwhile, Lost in Space, which I also finished has been reupped for a second season. Of course, I'll end up watching it, knowing perfectly well that the show excels at underachieving and bad writing.

There's another neat little animation series I discovered on Netflix last night called The Kirlian Frequency, kind of a play on the Midnight Radio thing crossed with the Creepy Supernatural Town thing. It's only 5 episodes, but I found it to be v enteratining. Give it a gander.

Just got the first two seasons of Catastrophe ... I have seen the main guy a lot on British television so I know a little bit about him.

I did my self-made list of NextGen episodes into Picard. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh, it was ok. Then I watched the 2 seasons of ST:Discovery. I don't know what all the fuss is about. I like DIscovery more than Picard honestly. Catching up on Good Place, Orville, and SuperStore also.
Watched S.1 of Ozark when it was new. Had a tough time w/ S.2. I assume its good..?
