Saw it today. I'd say 9/10 for sure. A lot of flash back and references to other superman / DC comic story lies. Definitely gonna be some good sequels. Worth a watch before DVD or streaming availability.

I'm glad you liked it Scout, but I'm not sure if I'll see it. I have a friend who saw it and he was disappointed. And from what I've read, the movie is a step up from Man of Steel but it has too much content even with its two and a half hour runtime.
I just question it because I didn't like Man of Steel all that much. And, it feels like DC is trying to play catch-up with Marvel with their whole cinematic universe. And as a result the quality of the films could suffer as a result. Who knows, I might give it a watch. But I'm more excited for Captain America Civil War and to see Ironman and Captain America fight it out.

So I finally gave it a chance, and I was genuinely surprised. There were still some things about the movie that I felt was either silly or unnecessary, but it was good overall. Ben Affleck was indeed a great Batman. Probably the meanest big screen Batman to date, and I loved it. And to see him literally own Superman was just awesome.
I did like Lex Luthor's character as well. While is personality doesn't really fit the name, I still thought he was great.
I also liked the religious connotations (specifically, the painting) and the debates on whether Superman could be trusted or not. It helped give the film a more mature angle to it.
So basically, I left the theater entertained and wondering why some people seem to hate it so much. It has its flaws and I don't consider it as good as any of Nolan's Batman films, but had plenty to offer. I'd give it a 6.5 or 7 out of 10 myself.

Saw it at the IMAX and loved it, 8/10, but marvel still better by far. Love me some Stan Lee!

The only thing I didn't like was the actor for batman.. I really liked the character for Lex Luthor.

You didn't like Ben Affleck Amigo? Hmm, fair enough. I thought he did very well in the role. Like I said, he's the meanest film version of Batman thus far.
