I am personally a big fan of Okanagan Springs 1516, though I doubt you can get it outside of BC or Alberta....maybe in Ontario?
In any case, microbreweries are almost always better than mainstream beer no matter where you go. Just my experience.

I was planning a massive post, replete with pictures, reviews, etc. But then I thought about it and I decided that I didn't want to exhaust it all in one shot. I'll keep it a simple, short list for now. This is based on what I can get on a regular basis (or could, in the case of the Nemesis 2009).
Top Ten
1.Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout (aka Bourbon County Stout, aka BCS) - My favorite beer. A massive 13% abv Bourbon-Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
2-10. (alphabetically)
Bell's Hopslam (seasonal) Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout (aka KBS) (seasonal) Founders Nemesis 2009 (retired) Goose Island Honkers Ale Goose Island India Pale Ale Maredsous 8 (aka Brune) St. Bernardus Abt 12 Sierra Nevada Bigfoot (seasonal) Trappistes Rochefort 10

This pretty much sums it up:
Hey Tom, you didn't mention where I might be able to purchase those fine products....are they local to you or can you get them farther afield than where you might be. I am always up for trying new things (esp beer)
Cheers (drinking a Moosehead right now, brewed proudly in Moncton, NB...not far from BananaMasher and others)

Any amber ale here. lots of good ones out there. Rob, have you tried either the Anderson Valley Boont Amber Ale or Lagunitas *CENSORED* ( aka The Kronic)? They are both California breweries so you should be able to find them. Not sure where you shop, but the Tacoma Boys on 6th supposedly has an excellent selection, as does the one in Puyallup. Disco, where do you live?

Usually in the fridge = Becks At a decent (maybe Irish) bar = Guinness At a dive bar = Yuengling Savor the moment = Duvel (or Trappistes Rochefort 10, Saison Dupont) Vacation out west = One of many micro brews
PS: Scout's response makes sense too.

Yuengling! But you can't get it down in Austin, Texas so I go for labatt or miller light usually but if I've got the cash I love craft beer, but I just settle with the miller I'm usually always drinking
